I'm taking a break from my hard earned rest. when I i take a rest, it meant that everything (as in chores, movies, books, surfing the net, etc) is in halt. All i do is laze around the house and just stare at whatever is in front of me or let myself drift into sweet oblivion. So you can imagine why I need to take a break from my rest. 
Few weeks ago i've asked krstjb for a good book to read, unfortunately, the ones she had recommended were not that popular here so it's hard to get a copy, hence, I have to look for alternatives. I borrowed from a friend, a Dan Brown Novel "the lost Symbol". It's part of Robert Langdon's adventure. I picked that book because I remembered how I liked the "The Da Vinci Code". The conspiracies in the book and the controversies it is involved in made it more interesting to me. When I first read it, it was all fascinating to me, I've learned few interesting things (but I unfortunately forgot about them after 6 years...hehe) and it made me read other of his novels.
Sad to say, when you read them successively, you'll see a pattern in his novels. The interesting facts are still there, you'll learn few things, you'll give attention to things you usually don't give a second look but it felt their all the same.
So back to present, when I read the novel, i thought I'll have the same feelings when I first read his novel. First few pages, I was doing okay but halfway through, it felt like de ja vu...hehe
And after all that criticism, I'm still a fan of Dan Brown. He is a master weaver of stories. Even if they say that he made up some of the cult and brotherhoods in his novels, he wrote it as if it's all real. It amazes me even more if everything he writes are all made up..
So that's the end of my break from my rest...
Now, I'll be going back to resting
