My heart raced as they mentioned the final call. I really could not afford to miss this interview. I had prepared myself physically and mentally for the past six months. It now came to this crucial interview that would play a big role in determining my future. I had to succeed. I just had to.
"I'm here!" I shouted. I turned my head back to take a final look at my idol whom I had accidentally offended. I really wanted to apologize to him, but my interview was more important. I could apologize to him in the future if I managed to succeed this time.
He looked like he was really angry. I mean, who wouldn't? But I was a victim as well! I didn't mean to do it on purpose. Besides, he already had a swarm of fan-girls surrounding him, asking if he was okay. I think it was the upper-hand of being an idol: when you injured your finger, it was as if it was the end of the world to your fans. And for us commoners, if we get into a car accident, people might just pass by as if nothing is going on...

I nodded at the girl who was calling my name just now. She didn't look any older than 21 years old. She frowned at my lateness and signaled me to go in. I bowed and said my thanks to her before entering the room. This is it. My life-changing moment... It has finally arrived.
