It would have been an excellent rating, but I was disappointed how the ending flowed through. They could really have done a better job but solving the issues/problems in one swift? Too fast faced I'd say.

Oh please don't get me wrong, I love the drama, the actors, the story, everything about Sungkyunkwan Scandal (most especially Gul~Rim couple ^^). Just stating an opinion about the ending.. kekeke

i loved this drama. at first i thought it was boring historical drama but when i started i realized i was so wrong.
the cast is amazing and i liked the plot ^^

I find the romance between the main couple ok and i like storyline but what i really like about this drama is Moon Jae Shin and Gu Yong Ha.

When I watched the first episode of Sungyunkwan Scandal, I already had an eye on Gu Yong ha and Moon Jae Shin.
I think these people was the reason I watched it until the end.
but, i was disappointed with the ending, I think that could make a better ending.

I was a HUGE fan of DBSK for their music, but not their acting. I thought Micky's a bit stiff here. I liked Song Joong Ki and Yoo Ah In though.

I saw some reviews on it & decided to give it a shot (Not that big a fan of Micky) But this drama got me to like him! I hope they make a season 2 =(

At the start, I find the drama boring because of its classical nature (Not really a fan of classics during the time I watched it) but as I go on through the episodes, it was awesome.

It is like Hana Kami and Coffee Prince-ish style of plot (Girl, disguising as a boy) but surely the drama did not reflect a weak plot or just because of a very obvious purpose.

Great Drama to watch. Made me scream in my bed all the time when something thrilling is gonna happen *-* ~~heartbeat~~ <3

Well, I actually loved the ending. Did you all know that the story is based on a best selling novel? The novel is a lot sexier than the drama (some parts are HOT!) It's not available in English, but parts of the novel were translated by a fan, and you can read it here:

When I watched the first episode of Sungyunkwan Scandal, I already had an eye on Gu Yong ha and Moon Jae Shin.

but, i was disappointed with the ending, I think that could make a better ending.

I am like you...the ending could have been better. But I have found that many Korean dramas have endings that seem to be rushed to the end without enough time to bring things to closure that is satisfactory. And then you have "High Kick through the Roof" (season 2) which went from a sitcom the whole family could enjoy to having the last episode kill off two of the central love interests of the mainly comedy sitcom. The writer(s) of the final episode should get recognition for the "Stupidest Ending in the History of Korean tv Sitcoms". That was enough to piss off the Pope! It was like having Rachel and Ross killed by muggers in the last episode of "Friends". Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. Stupid is as stupid does.

Hm, I agree with some people here.
The ending could've been so much better.
Though, I loved the love triangles. :3
So cute ~ And funny at some parts. Even though it was a historical drama, I loved it.
This drama totally made me fell in love with Song Joong Ki. ♥

this is one of my favorites drama, though the ending is not quite good!

if there is a 9.5 then that would be my vote!!!

i love the story, the setting, the cast and most esp. the OST, hahaha i'm still listening to it.

Yoo Chun acted Soon Jun so well, he is stiff because the role calls for it. and he is much better than Chang Min in Paradise Ranch

A book can do? Without the drawings and some text.

Despite minor flaws, I found this to be one of the best of 2010. Liked the ending, never was excited about bromance. Yes, I'm boring.

At first I dun like the drama as I thought it will only be a boring historical drama but I was wrong...I loved it..I loved the casts, the storyline, the theme, the costume n everything..only I was a little bit disappointed with the ending..thought it was a little bit fast pace, other than that everything is wonderful...all the cast did a very good job especially the 4 lead actors n actress..love Gu Yong Ha characters n his interaction between the cast made the story fun to watch..as for Yoochun even though he is new but he surely show everyone that he talent n he done it beautifully...9/10..

i like this story. the interaction of the four main character is great. however i don't really like the ending. that's why i only give it 8/10.
