Wow these sites are really helpful! I was looking for some place to learn rather than by myself. Books themselves just don't make the cut when learning a language. I was familiar with Hangul but putting sentences together was beyond difficult for me.

I also was thinking about learning Korean and I found very useful website. http://hompi.sogang.ac.kr/korean/
I think it's good especially for beginners. Everything is explained very well and it contains audio with pronunciation.

Thank you so much for the link, I don't have the time to learn a new language at this time but I'll save this link.
This site seems to better than my Rosetta stone CD. :)

    Thanks for posting ^^.
But I do feel that Talk to me in korean is better than rob's site. (Plus it's free.)
Unfortunatly, I was not able to find the site of the montash university. Maybe someone can post a link?

Its not Montash University, its Monash theres no T in it.

Almost all of the stuff I've been able to find is free, Monash Korean studies site and Talk To Me In Korean. I also checked out some Korean-English dictionaries from my public library and studied those (also free!).

I got pdf books and i've saved these sites as well. Want to try and learn by myself because it looks quite easy.
I just have to force myself into a schedule because I tend to procrastinate if someone isn't disciplining me. XD

hi. where did you get your pdf books? can you share it with me? thanks in advance! i'd really like to learn korean language! :)
