Lee Min-Ho was born in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, South Korea on June 22, 1987. His family consists of his mother, father, and one older sister. As a young child, Lee Min-Ho hoped to become a football (soccer) player, but an injury in the 5th grade of elementary school ended those dreams. However, Lee Min-Ho still keeps up with football and mentions Nal-do Ho as his favorite player.

In the 2nd year of his high school career, Lee Min-Ho turned his attention to acting. By the time of Lee Min-Ho's senior year in high school he joined Starhaus Entertainment with the help of an acquaintance. After going through training, Min-ho started auditioning for roles and landed smaller roles in several television dramas. His major breakthough came with Min-ho landing the lead role in the KBS2 drama Boys Over Flowers as Gu Jun-pyo. The television series became immensely popular and regularly received ratings of over 30% in South Korea. Lee Min-Ho is currently majoring in Film & Art at Konkuk University.

He has grown so much acting wise, from 'Goo Jun Pyo' in Boys Over Flowers to 'Lee Yoon Sung' in City Hunter. I, obviously, did love him in BOF because his character became so loving and passionate towards Jan Di, but the acting got weird from time to time.
Now, watching City Hunter, I can't see or feel that awkwardness anymore.. He has undergone tremendous changes and he has become a better actor than he was. I think he's really on a roll now and I believe he could be as big as Won Bin and Byung Hun if he keeps up like this.

Hmm can't say that I enjoyed his performances in Boys Over Flowers and I thought he was a bit too effeminate in Personal Taste. Anyway, looking forward to watching City Hunter.

I love Lee Min-ho in City Hunter. The role really suits him. I don't like him much in BOF despite all the hype about that drama, and I did not watch Personal Taste, either. I can see that he has good looks and everything that defines hot and sexy but it has never actually gotten to me, until City Hunter. He totally makes me a fan now.

so he improved a lot especially from the city hunter drama..

I think CH really showed out his amazing potential in his acting career. Since im not a girl, i can say im not being bias because of the loooks. Even the hollywood director said he had potential.

I'd never heard of this guy before (I haven't been watching K-drama for several years) but I just started watching "City Hunter" and I really like that drama! Min Ho's acting isn't too bad and he interacts nicely with the other actors, so it makes the series flow along nicely.

Whats so interesting about Lee Min Ho?
His hairstyle change in each drama. So stylish hairstyle except in City Hunter. He has a beautiful eyes and i think the hairstyle hide his beautiful eyes.Don't u agree?. I more love to see his hairstyle in Personal Taste. Makes me fall in love with him more & more... Hahaha...

Beside his good looking, he has the acting talented. U can see a huge different of Lee Min Ho in City Hunter. From loving, childish character in BOF, he become more mature in City HUnter. And surprisingly, he really good in action movie. Can't wait for 2 more episodes of City Hunter.

I hope to see he act with my favourite actress Song Hye Kyo (heroin in Full House). Or perhaps we can see Lee Min Ho with Wonbin act together. So who gonna be the hero..? arghh... its so hard to choose between both of them, isn't? haha..

I was already in love with LMH in Boys Over Flowers, but then City Hunter came along...
Waaaah, I never thought I'd ever fangirl so much over actors, but WOOOOO LMH is one fiiiine hunk of man!
I wish he's just embrace his tall-ness though, he hunches a little. Haha, but still! I must have City Hunter season two!!

I actually think that Lee Min Ho has a lot of potential. As an actor, I like his intensity. He already had flashes of that in BOF but I think it was showcased better in City Hunter. When his on screen, you just focus on him which really marks someone with star potential.

I enjoyed Personal Taste for the pure visual (he really did look quite good in that drama) but acting wise I really don't think it gave him much of a challenge.

Like some of you, I was actually pleasantly surprised that he did well in his action scenes for City Hunter. I think its a genre that he can get into and be really successful at.

As for Hollywood, I agree, he can even get there, provided, he can master English. Hollywood will not be possible without it.

I wasn't really a fan of lee min ho during his Boys Over Flower drama, but I always find him really handsome. I appreciated his acting skills during his Personal Taste drama and he improved more in his latest drama, City Hunter. And now he is one of favorite actors! <3<3<3

As many others, I wasn't impressed with him in BOF. And all I remember of Personal Taste is that awesome "Sanggojae". ^^
But yeah, City Hunter was all kinds of amazing, he was all kinds of amazing. It really did surprise me!

I actually didn't like him that much in Personal Taste (which was one of my first dramas to watch) and in BOF, but since City Hunter I'm absolutely in love with him!
I think he really improved a lot in his acting and has a lot of potential. Right now I'm rewatching his dramas and actually do enjoy them more than before. I think he does have a bright future right ahead of him and wish him a lot of success
And for us hopefully a lot more, outstanding dramas, like City Hunter (love of my life <3 )

The first drama I watched was boys before flower, which was EXCELLENT

Second drama was personal taste, and I CAN watch it a thousand time. not really BUT IT IS REALLY good.

Then there comes city hunter. I reckon his acting skill and everything improved dramatically dramas after dramas.
