The DSS Administrators had discussed on the the regulation of the use of avatar and signatures, or more popularly known as siggys. Some siggys were very big in either file size or dimension that it already affects the loading of the webpage. We have come up with the following rules:

Final size for each siggy is 450x150px - MAXIMUM

Max file size is 2MB.

AVATAR - maximum size is 150x150px with Maximum of 1mb file size.

CONDITIONS:

• One can have 2 siggies but the combined file size of both should not exceed the Maximum file size OF 2MB.
• One can have 2 siggies but each siggy not should exceed 450x150px. For aesthetics, it is advisable to use a smaller size for your second signature, say 300x100, the same as what I am using right now.
• One is only allowed 2mb for the siggy section, hence if you want to have 2 .gifs you can still have that if each would be 1mb or lower.
• No background post.

For all the "designs" one is only given 3mb maximum (2mb for siggy & 1mb for avatar)

ON THE OTHER HAND, THE ONE POSTED ON TOP WAS DIFFERENT AND A MISCONCEPTION:

THIS WAS CLARIFIED AS STATED BELOW, ONE MEMBER CAN HAVE TWO SIGNATURES BUT BOTH SHOULD NOT BE 450X150. TO BE SPECIFIC, ONLY ONE OF THE SIGGY IS 450X150 AND THE OTHER SHOULD BE OF A SMALLER SIZE. WAGGY AGREED ON A 350X50 SECOND SIGGY.

WE ARE SORRY FOR THE MISCONCEPTION EARLIER. WE DO HOPE THAT EVERYONE WILL ABIDE BY THIS UPDATED RULE. YOU ARE ALLOWED TWO-WEEKS' TIME TO EFFECT THE NECESSARY CHANGES ON YOUR SIGGYS. THE GRAPHICS TEAM WILL BE IN-CHARGE OF MONITORING THIS. WE HOPE FOR YOUR COOPERATION. THERE WILL BE SANCTIONS FOR VIOLATORS.

I changed mine as well. I asked the whole PR team to change or adjust their siggy as well. I pass the message to Radio Team Leader to relay it to the team also.

It just you see it smaller than the one you have now or others...
But it's big enough for forum, IMO.

I think for CONDITIONS:

It should be "both should NOT exceed the maximum file size of 2MB" and "both should NOT exceed 450px*150px". I think adding the "px" for dimensions is quite important or some people might think it's inches/centimeters/so on... >___<

Okay, please give me some time to make some changes!
