Actually, after "Birth of the Rich Man" ended I thought that it would be his last drama before he will be going for his military service.
But well he was still active in drama world a lot and with the superb responses to his new drama I think its gonna be beneficial for him after he will return from army. Actors with the hit drama before going for the 2 year long military service find their way back to entertainment industry easy as compared to actors with flop dramas.

but because in the end of his speech he confessed to yoo in na, enlisted thing became not matter anymore...
oh,,,did you watch birth of the rich man?it is playing on kbsw, but i've never concentrate watching it so i don't really know what is it about..

Actor Ji Hyun Woo (27 years) will be enlisting in the army in July.

On June 8th, 2012, the management agency of Ji Hyun Woo said, “Ji Hyun Woo will join the army as active duty on July 3rd, 2012.”

The official said, “Ji Hyun Woo received the military draft notice during the filming on tvN drama ‘Queen In-Hyun’s Man‘. The news of enlistment could have been announced in advance, but as the will of Ji Hyun Woo is to faithful in to the drama filming before the enlistment, hence the news was only announced now.”

Ji Hyun Woo debuted in the 20th KBS talent show in 2003, and rose to stardom after starring in 2004 comedy “Old Miss Diary” in the role of Ji Hyun Woo PD. Then, he starred in numerous drama series “Over the Rainbow”, “My Sweet Seoul”, “Becoming a Billionaire” and also movies “Attack The Gas Station 2″, “Mr. Idol”, staging activities in many areas. He is also active in three-member group The Nuts. “Queen In-Hyun’s Man” concluded on June 7th, 2012 is her last project before enlistment.

Receiving attention from “Nonnas’ Boys”, and parting with “Queen In-Hyun’s Man”. Moreover, Ji Hyun Woo said to Yoo In Na on the scene of “Queen In-Hyun’s Man grand final episode live telecast activity held on the night of June 7th, 2012, “I really love Yoo In Na. Hope to get your blessings.”



The management agency of Ji Hyun Woo expressed the position on the matter, “This is the private life of Ji Hyun Woo. The love confession between young man and woman often happens, so the company does not have separate announcement.”

Ji Hyun Woo postpones his military enlistment

Actor Ji Hyun Woo has delayed his enlistment to a later date due to the back injury sustained during the filming of tvN‘s ‘Queen Inhyun’s Man‘.

On July 1st, a representative of his agency, Paramount Music, informed Newsen, saying, “Ji Hyun Woo was scheduled to enlist on July 3rd, however, his enlistment has inevitably been deferred. … On June 28th, we submitted a request to the Military Manpower Administration to postpone his enlistment. The reason for the postponement is to receive treatment on his back injury.”

According to Paramount Music, Ji Hyun Woo suffered an injury to his back when he fell off a horse during the drama filming. Although it’s not a severe injury, the actor has been complaining of continuous pains, therefore, he will postpone his enlistment for a month.

The representative continued, “His exact date of enlistment has not been given, but we believe he’ll enlist near the end of July or the beginning of September at the latest. We have received permission to defer his enlistment. However, the reason for his postponement is definitely not because of the drama’s overseas promotion.”

“Yoo In Na‘s man” Ji Hyun Woo will be enlisting on August 7th.

Ji Hyun Woo’s agency told Sports Seoul on July 15th, “Ji Hyun Woo will be enlisting on August 7th. Currently, he is receiving treatments for his injury once every two to three days and resting.”

Ji Hyun Woo was supposed to enlist on July 3rd but it was postponed because of an injury he suffered while filming ‘Queen Inhyun’s Man‘.

On another note, Ji Hyun Woo began dating his co-star of ‘Queen Inhyun’s Man’, Yoo In Na in June and was spotted attending IU‘s concert together on June 30th.

Actor Ji Hyeon-woo will be leaving the public's eye for to serve his military duties.

As a healthy Korean-national male, Ji is required to serve two years in the military. And his time has come. The A-list actor will be holding a special fan meeting before he enters the military on August 7th.

The event is scheduled for July 22nd, with part 1 being at 5 PM and part 2 at 8 PM. 500 fans will take part, where Ji is scheduled to sing about 7-8 of his own songs, hold a "Talk Time" with his fans, and also invite some of his friends and acquaintances to come on the stage as
well.
