I was wondering if anyone knows how do people accept smoking in South Korea?! I am a middle eastern and well I think we smoke quite a lot compared to other countries. Cigarets are quite cheap here.
So I am moving to Korea for about six months and I am a smoker I was wondering if anyone knows anything. Do they accept girls smoking? Are cigarets expensive there?

Actually I tried to quit for a couple of weeks fearing that they might hate girl smokers but it seems impossible.

P.S. a pack of blue Pall Mall costs me about 1-2 dollars.

hope this does not come too late. from what i experienced b4, i dont think there's any problem for u to smoke besides do it outdoor n i guess away from the no smoking sign. and as for girls smoking, yea there shudnt be any problem as well. seen some of the girls there smoking as well n nobody really gives a weird look. a pack of fags would cost u around 3000won to 5000won if im not mistaken.

anyways, may i ask u that since ur going there for 6 long months, on wat purpose is that? issit work related or studying? i've been to korea and seoul to be exact for a week, and it really gives me a very good impression. might wanna go there again and stay there for much longer than week.

I have heard that the boys do smoke a lot there. I am actually quite stressed about how are things going to be there.

I am going to be studying Korean there.

woa thats great. envy u. there's nothing much to be stressed there i guess. besides, the koreans are very helpful but too bad they have problems speaking in english. but still they try their best to help.hope u enjoy ur time there. i sure did~

I envy you ;-) I've been there before for a short visit for a week and I really fell in love with Seoul. To go there to learn Korean would be a blast :-)
