In October 2010, Suzy became the host for MBC Show! Music Core alongside Minho(SHINee) and Onew(SHINee), and Jiyeon from T-ara. Suzy later hosted other shows such as Inkigayo, M! Countdown, M! countdwn Hello Japan, the The 21st Seoul Music Award , 26th Golden Disk Award and Mnet 20's Choice Awards, where she won an award under the category "hot new star of 2011".
Apart from her group activities Suzy made her acting debut with the drama Dream High, followed by the film Introduction to Architecture. This romantic film was directed by Lee Yong Ju and starred several top-notch celebrities. The film follows the love story of an architecture student who meets a student majoring in music during an ‘Introduction to Architecture’ class. He falls head over heels in love with her, and the experience turns into a memory of his first love. Years later, the student becomes an official architect and meets his first love again when she visits his office as a client. Suzy and Lee Ji Hoon will be playing as the younger versions of the two main leads. Suzy is now preparing for her next project: Hong Sister's drama "Big" beside Gong Yoo and Lee Min Jung that will start airing on June 4.
On March 31, Suzy walked the runway for the very first time as the main model for designer Kim Jae Hyun's brand, Jardin de Chouette at the 2011 Seoul Fashion Week.
In October 2011, it was confirmed that Suzy became a cast member in TV reality show Invincible Youth 2 (청춘불패) in which Suzy was a part of G8, consisting of 8 girls from idol groups as Girls' Generation's Sunny and Hyoyeon, Kara's Jiyoung, f(x)'s Amber, SISTAR's Bora, RAinbow's Woori and Jewelry's Yewon. The show began filming its first episode on October 19 and the first episode ofInvincible Youth 2 is aired on November 11.
On November 4, 2011, it revealed that Suzy will made a surprise appearance in the new music video titled Pretty but Hateful of former G.O.D's member Son Ho Young. Suzy played the role of the main female character and captivated the audience with her natural beauty and innocent charm. She left a strong impression by being able to cry on demand in the beginning of the MV.
Suzy has also worked as a narrator for the U.S. segment of MBC‘s “2011 Cover Dance Festival K-Pop Roadshow 40120" and 2AM's Christmas Concert VCR.
In 2012, Suzy showed her support towards the Pink Wings Campaign, ran by the Korean Citizens' Coalition for Teens, by participating in the special photoshoot Vogue Girl conducted.
On April 26, Suzy attended the 48th Paeksang Awards and received the Best New Actress Award for her Movie debut in "Introduction to Architecture"under the category movies,which made her the first female to win a singer rookie award, drama rookie award and movie rookie award.

Suzy's Pure Self-Photos: "Looks Like She Came Out Straight From a Comic Book"

A self-photo of Miss A's Suzy was revealed, showing her pure beauty.

On the 4th of September, Suzy uploaded onto her Twitter account a picture of herself that shows off her pure image.

In the revealed picture, Suzy is wearing a white blouse as she takes a close-up of her face. Her white skin and black hair makes her look like the main character of a comic book.

Suzy, who debuted when she was in high school, often uploads self-photos and therefore is called the "self-photo master."

Photos titled “Suzy‘s Hidden Childhood Days” recently surfaced on an online community site. The photos had been used during the creation of the DVD of the film ‘Introduction to Architecture‘, which the miss A member starred in.

The photograph revealed the adorable baby Suzy rocking a blue toga-like outfit as well as an animal-print hoodie.

Kim Soo Hyun Displays Special Affections for Suzy


Recently, an online community forum posted couple screen captures of Kim Soo Hyun and miss A’s Suzy interacting under the title “Suzy receiving affections at the filming site.”
The images were taken from the behind the scenes filming of KBS’s hit drama “Dream High.” Kim Soo Hyun playfully cups Suzy’s face with his hands and the man behind also joins in.
Netizens who saw the screen captures commented, “The two look so good together,” “I’d love it if I can receive such affections from Kim Soo Hyun,” “I’m so jealous of Suzy.”
Meanwhile, Suzy has been cast as the lead alongside Lee Seung Gi in MBC’s upcoming drama “Gu Family Book.” Kim Soo Hyun is currently busy filming for the movie “Secret to Greatness,” which is an adaptation of the webtoon with the same name.
