Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software

This book is 20 years old now but I still keep it close to my computer at all times.  It's a classic.

    Yes, it's fantasy genre..Hontesly it's for 12+ haha

It's about a young girl called Prue..Wait, i'm currently reading.. like the sequel so i could spoil you..But, it's different..I mean on the second book, we have like 2 events (we are following Prue, Curtis (her classmate but he is now her friend) and Septimus (a rat who can speak)) and another part, we are talking about the two sisters of Curtis who are in orphanage but in reality the owner of this orphanage give work for children so it's like exploitation but his objective is to do some experience to children so they can go to the impassable territory...

Yes, on the first one (book), they are talking about a young girl, Prue who will going to the impassable territory because she want to find her little brother who was take off by crows.

It's strange but it make a dream, it's a nice book for the children but, i think also for the elders too who wants go back to their childhood ? ^^'

Sorry for my awkward explanation, hope you can understand it..

No worries about your explanation. It sounds interesting. Any fantasy is interesting to me.

Hey, I read books meant for chlidren too. Have you read the Ranger's Apprentice series? I love the series even though it's meant for children or rather young adults. Another series is the 39 Clues and its spin-offs. This is another interesting read.

I changed computers so I saved all my books in a thumb drive. Now, there's something wrong with the thumb drive. If I can recover it, then I can send you the ebooks for 39 Clues.

My ebooks are in Word Documents format as I don't have an eReader.

I'm reading 'The Simpsons and their Mathematical Secrets' by Simon Singh. My brother bought it for me for Christmas. It's quite interesting; it's full of interesting anecdotes about the writers of 'The Simpsons' and their mathematical credentials. However it's interspersed with a lot of random information about Mathematics (most of which is pitched below my level because I know my mathematics) and random highlights from Simpsons scripts, some of which have nothing to do with Mathematics. It's not a bad read but it just seems a bit random at times.

I love the 'Wicked' series by Gregory MacGuire. I have read the first three - Wicked, Son of a Witch and A Lion among Men, and I have the fourth book - Out of Oz - ready to read when my studies are less demanding. They are very well-written books which always surprise me - the way that the story unfolds is unconventional - so you never guess what will happen next - but despite this it's satisfying dramatically.
