Witch’s Romance – Hilarious, lighthearted, illusional and a little dellusional. I loved the chemistry between Uhm Jung Hwa and Park Seo Joon, both had wonderful friends, and the supporting actors were all great. The age difference was played out well. Nothing to complain for, except the noble idiocy part. Worth watching.

Nemureru Mori no Jukujo – It’s...

About dramas I watched – Take 3

k-drama, j-drama, review
I Hear Your Voice – Nice and funny interaction between the characters, but too much legal stuff to the point that bored me. Everything was predictable. Those speeches of the prosecutors and attorneys were so flat and childish, that I was shouting to my screen at the writer who didn’t bother to do some research and learn how to do it so that she could mak...

Who Are You, Heavens Order and 2 more...
I wanted to write a post like this, but up until now I didn't have enough material, 'cause I'm not so good in observing.
Since I finally succeeded to gather it, here comes.

From Heaven's Order , ep. 4: I think this would be the best ad for a detergent. You have very dirty clothing stained with blood, you throw it in the water, and instantly changes in bl...

Obvious product placements in dramas

I Hear Your Voice, kdrama and 1 more...
Since I watched King of Dramas I'm more aware of what I see in dramas. You remember that orange juice product placement that the writer refused to put in the script, right? That was when everything started.
Recently I watched I Hear Your Voice and I was hit in the face with a few very obvious product placements. Don't get me wrong, I understand the purpos...

The Virus  – This is a medical thriller and took itself serious. It's the phobia-inducing kind. The atmosphere is grim, with lots of corruption and unscrupulous people. The characters are static and one-dimensional, so it’s not much challenge for the actors, the show visually is dark, with enough scenes when you want to cover your eyes. The thing that mad...

Love Fiction, film review
/I won't tell the title. Those who have seen it, will know./  ... but I'll give you a hint: tags

How can a film be SOOOO boring? And I thought it will be good... What a disappointment. I prefer stupid films instead. I managed
somehow to sit through the first hour, then came the shit joke. Like that armpit hair thing wasn't bad enough.

I decided t...

opinions about dramas
Few days ago I made a list of the k-dramas I watched. Here are some of my thoughts and impressions about them.

Whatched dramas:
Queen Seon Deok  – It was thrilling, never bored me even with all that politics. The villains were great, and Kim Nam Gil stole the show. And those fights and battles were brilliantly filmed and coreographed.
Dae Jang Geum  – L...

Two weeks ago I read this short piece from Gárdonyi Géza, a Hungarian writer from the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, and I just loved it. So I decided to try translating it to English. (I apologize for my grammar, it's not perfect).

Ghymes, Vágyalku, Lyrics and 2 more...
Well, I did another translation of lyrics, this time it's of the song Vágyalku (Negotiation of Desire) from a band named Ghymes.

Negotiation of Desire

The deers are afraid,
The wolves are hunting here with ancient rights.

Good morning, good afternoon!
I’m selling a hundred...

I love the feeling of this song and the video is priceless. It's about this woman who's not that young anymore and meets this guy who was a heartthrob in his glory days but back then he ignored her. This song is from Péterfy Bori & Love Band and is called Bűvös vadász that means charming/enchanting hunter. Péterfy Bori is an actress who is singing wit...
