Review Ojakgyo Brothers

I don’t usually bother with dramas over 30 episodes as I find that in most cases the plot fizzles out. However this was an exception, even after 58 episodes I could not help but wish that they rounded it up to 60.

The awards and accolades for this drama are well deserved. A solid script and solid acting paid off for this drama. The basic plot is reminiscent of Sons of Sol Pharmacy House, a family trying to marry of their sons.

The pairing of Tae Hee and Ja Eun is also reminiscent of the Korean folk tale of Ojakgyo, or the bridge of crows and magpies. The difficulties faced by their love is worthy of any good romance based drama, fate plays the hand of the evil mother trying to separate the lovers.

It will make you laugh, annoy you, make you want to cry and most definitely stay up for the next episode.

Ojakgyo Brothers 9/10
